About Us

Pastor Lee Maki

Pastor Lee Maki was born and raised in Marquette County. He trusted in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour on January 18th, 2009. He earned a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Walk Right Baptist Bible Institute. He also attended Master's Baptist Bible College where he helped with the planting of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jamestown, ND. He is married to Christine and they have a son, Gavin. He is dedicated to reaching our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Focus

We are passionate about winning our community to Jesus Christ through the King James Bible. We are teaching how to live our lives for the Glory of Christ and win others to Him through our lives and testimony

What We Believe

~We believe that a person is saved or born again, when he repents of sin and exercises faith by accepting Jesus Christ as his or her personal Saviour. (Rom 10:9-13, Eph. 2:8-9, 1 Peter 1:18-19)

~The believer is kept by the power of God, and is eternally secure in Christ. (John 10:27-30)

~We believe that the condition either of acceptance or rejection toward toward Christ is eternally fixed at death. (Luke 16:19-31)

~We further believe there is an appointed day for the judgement of the wicked when they will be cast into the lake of fire, there to remain in everlasting conscious punishment and torment. (Rev 20:11-15)

~Baptism is an outward act of obedience showing what has already taken place on the inside. (Acts 8:26-39, Acts 8:12-13, Acts 18:7-8)

~The total immersion of the believer in water baptism is a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. (Romans 6:3-5)

~It is done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. (Matt 28:19-20)

~We believe the Bible is clear that baptism has nothing to do with salvation. (Luke 23:39-43)

~"Eternal Security" means we believe the Bible says you cannot lose your salvation. Eternal means forever. Eternal life is a gift from God. (Rom 6:22-23) Promised by The One that cannot lie. (Titus 1:1-2)

~We are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. (Eph 1:12-14, John 10:28-29, John 6:39-40)

~God does not want us to doubt, but to know that we have eternal life. (1 John 5:11-13)
